Chinese American Tennis Society of NY, has been active in Tri-state area for the
last 10 years, with tennis related activities like tournaments, tennis parties
in Winter, annual dinner dance and Summer Tennis Clinic, which we conducted for
the last two years and enrolled about total of 200+ tennis enthusiasts from 7 to
50 years old, male and female, from the community.
Location:
Cunningham Park - 4 tennis courts No. 17 through 20 - all the way toward the
backAddress: 193 St. at Union Turnpike just West of Francis Lewis Blvd.,
Bayside, NY
Dates:
May 6, 13, 20, 27.and June 3, 10, 17, 24. (up to 8 Saturdays )
Beginner:
9:00-10:15 am
Intermediate:
10:30-11:45 am
Ages:
Junior: 7-13 years, Youth 14-17 years, Adult: 18 years & up, no grouping by
gender
Grouping:
By age and level, depending on number of participants, regardless of
gender. CATSNY instructors will determine which participants will be in the
beginner or intermediate groups
Fees:
$100 per person, payable upon registration or on site.
Group
size:
Up to 6 players per court as target, actual group size may vary
Instructors:
Ex-coach of Chinese Youth Tennis Team Barry Yang and staff
Program Guidelines:
1.
All Participants must sign a disclaimer for liability from injuries and
accidents before they start.
2.
Participants 7 to 13 years require parents/guardians to bring them to and pick
them up from courts.
3.
All participants' session fees must be fully paid before they start. No
individual Parks Tennis Permit (costs $100) is needed, since CATSNY obtained a
permit already.
4.
CATSNY is not responsible for inclement weather and at its sole discretion, may
cancel court time due to weather, And since Cunningham Park does not offer rain
dates, nor can we.
5.
All participants are responsible for their own tennis racquets, footwear,
clothing & accessories.
6.
CATSNY will provide Tennis balls, and is not responsible for loss of any
personal belongings.
7.
CATSNY may revise program offerings at its sole discretion, at any time.

on-site 5/6/2005 at 8:30 AM, including a $100 check and this filled registration
form. Make check payable to CATSNY
Bonus: Fully paid participants will
receive a CATSNY 2006 membership, normally a $10 value, and a CATSNY T-shirt for
free!
