On behalf of CATSNY, we thank Andy and Sandy, for their warm and generous hospitality to make our annual meeting successfully conducted at their resident.  

For the passed consecutive two years (2004 and 2005), under President Byron Yus leadership, we strongly earned our reputations in the Chinese community to introduce Tennis as a lifetime wonderful sport, which is not just good to our health but also a good means to build friendship.  There are many members in CATSNY spent their weekend as volunteer to support our summer tennis clinic as coaches and helpers.

Such as Barry Young, David Han, Simon Chung, Frank Tsui, Bob Lee, Kai, Eddie Suan, Eric Chang, Chung Wong, David Xie, Wei Chu and many others.

We sincerely appreciate their great contributions.  Besides that we also like to thank Mark Huang, Andy Lin, Dick Chen and John Liu who sponsored and organized our annual banquet.  

Following is the summary of this years meeting.

Ultimate Goals:

• To become a none profit organization.
• To sponsor young ethnic Chinese tennis players becoming world level players through fund raise.
• To maintain friendship and improve tennis skills among members.

Membership fee: $10 per year.  Contribution is always welcomed.       

President:

Dick Chen is elected as new president and Chairman of board directors.

Board directors:  

In order to organize, mobilize and share responsibilities, we decide to categorize groups by ethnic or common tennis group or geographic locations. Board directors determine all tennis activities. 

Coach & Consultant:

Barry Young and Tony Lu are elected as Coach and Consultant.  They are responsible for coaching, training, clinic and providing advice to team players, members and new students.  They are also board members.

Administrators:

Treasury: Eric Meng, financial statements will be published upon completion of transition.

Web site: Siao Lee will be responsible to maintain our CATSNY web site.

Social Director: Mark Huang is the organizer for Annual banquet.

Public Relationship: Jimmy Gao will introduce our activities on World Journal News paper.

Coordinator: David xie handles summer clinic event with city park department.

Others: as needed.

On going tasks:

•          Pursuing Lawyer and CPA to file in as none profit organization.

•          Annual banquet, Mark is acquiring restaurants and cost for board directors to make decision. It will be held around Christmas time. 

•          Tennis party is to be held near Chinese New Year.
