Average on-court time per player 2.5 hours
Cost:
$25 per player with dinner, $10 for dinner only.
Facility:
High-ceiling indoor, 7 deco-turf courts, men's and women's change rooms/showers/bathrooms,
parking lot, large lounge overlooking courts. Capacity: 56 players total, plus
non-players, no children under 12.
Mode of play:
All doubles by level, in alternating sessions, 28 play while 28 lounge.
Doubles competition will be arranged for intermediate and advanced levels,
including mixed doubles, depending on number of players registered. It's preferable
that you register with a doubles partner of same level: intermediate or advanced.
Beginners will be assigned to courts for practice and basic instruction.
Prizes will be awarded to intermediate and advanced level's doubles
winners and runner-ups.
Raffle prizes will be drawn for all participants.
Registration:
E-mail to Simon Chung (skmchung@yahoo.com) by April 16th, with double partners'
and any non-player names, their gender, email, cell phone and level of play:
beginner (USTR 1.0-2.5), intermediate (USTR 3.0-3.5) or advanced (USTR 4.0-5.0).
Only 56 players will be accepted, on first-come-first-served. Absolutely no
on-site registrations. All participants must be 18 years or older, no children
under 12 will be admitted, due to club insurance restrictions.
Please send check payable to Chinese American Tennis Society of New York, c/o
Simon Chung, 67-03 215th Street, bayside, NY 11364, to arrive no later than
April 19th, 2004 or by cash at door on date of event, as long as your registration
has been confirmed by e-mail.
Equipment:
Each player must bring their own tennis gear, such as racquet, non-marking sneaker
and clothing. Tennis balls will be provided.
CATSNY will not be responsible for injuries from play or lost personal items.

Directions:
From the South:
Take Garden State Parkway North to Exit 160. Go down ramp, turn right onto Passaic.
St.. Go 1 mile, thru Rochelle Ave., the club is on the left.
From George Washington Bridge:
From George Washington Bridge take Route 4 West to Spring Valley Road. Exit
at Spring Valley Road, heading South (use overpass to cross over Route 4 and
turn left onto Spring Valley). Travel String Valley to the T and turn right
onto Passaic St. The club is just ahead on the right side.
From Route 80 West:
From Route 80 West take the Route 17 North exit. Along Route 17, take exit to
Passaic St., go down ramp and bear right. The club is one block up on the left
side.
From the North:
Take Route 17 South then take the Garden State Plaza exit onto Rochelle Ave.
Go straight along Rochelle Ave. then turn left at light onto Passaic St. The
club is approximately 1/4 mile on the left.
