Average on-court time per player 2.5 hours
Cost:
$25 per player with dinner, $10 for dinner only.
Facility:
High-ceiling indoor, 7 new Deco-turf courts, men's and women's change rooms/showers/bathrooms,
parking lot, large lounge overlooking courts, plus 3 racquet ball courts are
available while you lounge.
Capacity:
56 players total, plus non-players, no children under 12.
Mode of play:
All doubles by level, in alternating sessions, 28 play while 28 lounge.
Doubles competition will be arranged for intermediate and advanced levels,
including mixed doubles, depending on number of players registered. It's preferable
that you register with a doubles partner of same level: intermediate or advanced.
Beginners will be assigned to courts for practice and basic instruction.
Prizes will be awarded to intermediate and advanced level's doubles winners,
runner-ups and semi-finalists.
Raffle prizes will be drawn for all participants.
Registration:
E-mail to byron_yu@premiumit.com by December 5th, with double partners' and
any non-player names, their gender, cell phone and level of play: beginner (USTR
1.0-2.5), intermediate (USTR 3.0-3.5) or advanced (USTR 4.0-5.0). Only 56 players
will be accepted, on first-come-first-served. Absolutely no on-site registrations.
All participants must be 18 years or older, no children under 12 will be admitted,
due to club insurance restrictions.
Please send check payable to Chinese American Tennis Society of New York, c/o
Byron Yu, 252 East 61 St. #4HS, New York, NY 1002, to arrive no later than Dec. 10th 2003, or by cash at door on 12/13, as long as your registration
has been confirmed by e-mail.
Equipment:
Each player must bring their own tennis/racquetball gear, such as racquet, non-marking
sneaker and clothing. Tennis balls will be provided.
CATSNY will not be responsible for injuries from play or lost personal items.

Directions:
George Washington Bridge to Route 4 West. After Queen Anne Road bear right.
About 2 exits after prepare to exit on "Teaneck River Road/Bogotá"
(quick right). At exit make right, see dead end & a fork, bear right again. Go
3 traffic lights (approximately 1 1/2 miles). A few feet away is the 1st traffic
light. Bear left and follow road (River Road). At the 2nd light you should have
a gas station on your right. Continue to 3rd light. At the 3rd light (MAIN ROAD), turn right. Club is on the left.
