2003 CATS-NY August/October Tennis Clinic
August to October, 2003
1. Introduction:
Due to popular demands and to better serve our members and our tennis
community, the Chinese American Tennis Society New York (CATS-NY) is
sponsoring a series of the tennis clinic programs through this summer. All
CATS-NY members and tennis friends in the NY metro area are welcome to participate. We will invite experienced tennis coaches from our
community to direct these programs.

3. Schedule:
Place - Public tennis courts in Cunningham Park, Queens
Directions - From the city, take LIE east to Clearview Expressway south to Union
Turnpike west, passed 2 lights and parking lot is on left. From Long Island, take
LIE west to Clearview Expressway south to Union Turnpike west, passed 2 lights
and parking lot is on left.
Time: (Saturdays) Aug 30th, Sep 13th, Sep 20th, Sep 27th, and Oct 4th.
Morning 9:00 10:15(Beginners level); 10:30 11:45 (Intermediate level)
Contents:
Beginners level(Rating: 1.0-2.5)
Clinic Contents - Basic tennis knowledge, grip, forehand/backhand ground strokes,
serves
Class size - 8 persons per session
Intermediate Level(Rating 3.0 3.5)
Clinic Contents - Forehand/backhand ground strokes and volleys, serves, doubles
gaming
Class size - 8 persons per session
Total # of players - 72
4. Cost:
$30 to cover court and ball fees.

that due to the Park of NEW YORK CITY refuse to give us the Tennis court time
for this Summer, There will be no Tennis camp this year. However, you
can contact our coach for arrange your individual lesson at the park.
