Chinese American Tennis Society of New York

Doubles competitions will be arranged for intermediate and advanced juniors, men's, women's and mixed, depending on number of players registered. It's preferable that you register with a doubles partner of same level: intermediate or advanced. We will try to arrange a partner as a last resort.

You can also participate as a beginner or practice-only player at designated court(s) where coach will direct activities. You are welcome to just watch and support this worthwhile event.

Contributions besides player entrance fee of $30 are welcome, all net proceeds will be donated to ACS - America Cancer Society Eastern Division Asian Initiatives. 

Sign-in: 12:30 PM- 1:00PM, sign-in, pay fee, check schedule at sign-in desk. Note. Please have a light meal before attending, we will provide light refreshment and snacks.  

Court time: 1:00 PM to 5:00PM average on-court time per doubles team is 2 hours

 Location: Billie Jean King National Tennis Center 718-760-6200, Flushing Meadows Corona Park. 

Facility: 10 outdoor Deco-Turf courts, change/bathrooms available.  

Mode of play: All doubles by category, in alternating sessions, half of doubles play while other half rest, 1 or 2 courts will be designated for tennis practice and coaching by Coaches Barry Yang and Eric Cheung.

Only limited players will be accepted for match play. First-come; first-served. 

Prizes will be awarded to intermediate and advanced level’s doubles winners.  

Tennis Lesson: Coach Barry Yang and Coach Eric Cheung will teach basic strokes to beginner group on 1 to 2 courts. Each group will have practice time. Match play may be arranged.  

Tennis gear: Tennis balls will be provided.
